My name is Alyssa Evans, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders at Utah State University. With over 1 year of experience as a special education teacher assistant at an elementary school, I have developed a strong passion for tutoring, particularly in math, reading, and writing. I thrive on building personal connections with my students, tailoring my teaching strategies to meet their unique learning needs.

For instance, I utilize hands-on activities and visual aids to help students grasp challenging concepts, making learning engaging and accessible. My experience as a math tutor in high school, where I assisted students in geometry, algebra, and calculus, further solidified my love for teaching. One of my most rewarding moments was helping a kindergarten student progress in writing, witnessing his excitement as he successfully wrote his first word. I am eager to continue fostering academic growth and confidence in my students, making a positive impact in their educational journeys.
