Certified Tutor
I am a international relations and global business graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. As the eldest daughter of hardworking immigrant parents, I grew up supporting my younger siblings with their English homework and school projects. From an early age, I saw firsthand how language can either be a barrier or a bridge and I've made it my mission to help others experience the latter.
Today, I tutor K12 students in English, reading, and writing, as well as language learners in Spanish, Japanese, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I've also spent two years teaching English in Japan and served as Head Coach and Co-Director of a middle school speech and debate academy, where I taught public speaking and competitive debate. Whether you're a young student building literacy skills or an adult navigating a new language, I create a learning space that is safe, encouraging, and tailored to your natural rhythm.
I believe true growth happens when students feel comfortable and seen. That's when learning becomes not just effective but empowering.

Outside of tutoring, I’m a lifelong learner with a deep passion for reading and exploring new ideas. I’m especially fascinated by psychology, history, and biology—there’s nothing more captivating to me than the story of how we think, grow, and connect across time. That said, I’m also a proud fantasy nerd! I grew up loving Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and anime—and I still do. When I’m not reading or rewatching my favorite shows, you can find me outdoors hiking, swimming, or cycling. I also love to dance and have dabbled in everything from salsa and bachata to ballet and hip hop. Cooking is another passion of mine—whether I’m learning a new recipe or making something comforting for my friends, food is one of my favorite ways to connect!
