Ian: Palos Heights tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a Senior Honors Student at Baylor University pursuing a triple major in Baylor Business Fellows, Biology, and Economics on the Pre-Medical Track. I am involved in Neurobiology research studying changes in innervation of the cochlea, I volunteer with a local clinic in Waco, and I work as a medical assistant with a phase-1 drug trial clinic. I am deeply involved in leadership and mentorship in my community, and I enjoy tutoring as a means to help serve those students who share the same passion for science and medicine as I do. I believe that 1-on-1 peer tutoring is one of the most powerful tools in learning because it allows the tutor and student to from a relationship that serves as the foundation for further engagement with material and helps to foster a passion for learning. In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights, reading history, hiking, playing board games, and traveling.
