I am a recent undergraduate from Stony Brook University and I have completed my Bachelors in Applied Mathematics and Mathematics in 2 years. My passion in teaching others comes from liking when other people succeed after taking my advice. It makes me feel that I have succeeded in my job. I have been a teaching assistant in Stony Brook for Linear Algebra, and I have done peer to peer tutoring in high school. My TAship has helped me gain a lot of experience especially with hosting office hours and grading homework. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive learning environment where students won't be afraid to ask hard math questions. I try to connect with each student by tailoring my approach to their individual needs and learning styles, and change my teaching style to fit their needs. I would love to tutor topics such as Algebra 1, 2 or Calculus because those are my favourite subjects to tutor as I believe I have a deep understanding of those topics. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing Cricket and Soccer, engaging in Chess, and exploring historical and political content on YouTube, which helps me relate complex subjects to real-world contexts.
