Certified Tutor
I am veterinarian with over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring students. I have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. While my doctorate and veterinary credentials highlight my academic journey, my true passion lies in mentoring students and helping them achieve their dreams.
My experience includes helping high school students prepare for college admissions by tutoring in biology, AP English, and AP Biology. I have taught and tutored high school and undergrad students in physiology, biology, anatomy, pathology, and English literature to prepare them and help with their admissions into veterinary school.
I offer a unique approach that incorporates AI as a powerful companion to traditional learning, never as a shortcut, but as a strategic tool to amplify understanding, enhance critical thinking, and stay competitive in a tech-driven world. My students gain the confidence and skills to master subjects on their own, while also learning how to responsibly harness technology to excel now and in the future.
Whether you are navigating the intricacies of biology, crafting compelling essays, or setting your sights on veterinary school, I am here to guide you with kindness, clarity, and a dash of humor. My approach is centered around you, the student. I adapt to your learning style, celebrate your progress, and provide the tools you need to succeed. Let's embark on this educational journey together, turning challenges into triumphs and aspirations into achievements.

I love traveling and discovering new things. Adventure is in my DNA. I travel the world with my sister, soaking up new cultures, cuisines, and spontaneous experiences. At home, I am drawn to nature and live on a beautiful creek, perfect for birdwatching, hiking, and spending copious amounts of time outdoors gardening and with the cats.
