Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Fordham University, New York's Jesuit University. In May 2025, I received my Bachelor of Arts in history & French and Francophone studies. As an undergraduate, I completed art historical archival research in which I translated French letters from the 1910s into English to construct an ownership paper trail for medieval artwork owned by the Metropolitan Museum. While I am most knowledgeable about French language and literature, my academic expertise qualifies me to tutor a wide-ranging variety of history and English courses. As an avid reader, especially of 19th century English/French novels, I am passionate about linguistics, which makes me enjoy teaching grammar and vocabulary in both languages. I strongly believe that the best educators provide their students the best tools and nudge them in the right direction, yet encourage them to do the dirty work themselves. Reaching concept mastery is incredibly rewarding, so ensuring that my students get there is my top priority.

I have been an Irish dancer for 15 years, and I have spent 8 of them teaching others while honing my own craft. I worked as a student teacher for dancers ages 4-14 in high school, and in college, I ran beginner classes for my peers and created original choreography for the club Irish dance team. I also am passionate about music, playing instruments in high school and singing in an a collegiate a cappella group – I make vocal arrangements in my free time! Finally, I am a digital photographer with a DSLR camera and have taken graduation photos for over 200 Fordham students since May 2023.
