Learn to Think Like an Engineer!
I completed a Master's in Biomedical Engineering by building a cell bioprinter from the ground up, documented through a 40+ page technical thesis. There was no step-by-step manual or class material for building a bioprinter.
I only had my curiosity, my imagination, and the drive to learn everything on my own.
Self-learning continues to fuel my creativity, passion, and confidence today. When mastered, it empowers you to explore any subject, overcome any challenge, and truly take ownership of your growth.
As your tutor, I'll help you develop an engineer's mindset. You'll learn how to initiate your own inquiries, approach challenges independently, and build the confidence to solve real-world problems. I aim to make lessons visually engaging, intuitive, and empowering, so you walk away with knowledge and tools to think for yourself.
I am experienced with a broad range of subjects--including Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Mechanics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science--drawing from my Master's in Biomedical Engineering, minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Math, and hands-on experience as an engineer and research scientist. I am interested in assisting both university and school-aged students in STEAM fields. I currently teach students how to build and program their own robotic arms using microcontrollers.
