Certified Tutor

As a Registered Nurse with over 26 years of clinical experience, I am passionate about teaching subjects related to nursing, providing techniques and foundational material to prepare for the NCLEX and additional specialty board certifications. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and my Master's degree in Nursing Education. I am also board certified in psychiatric and mental health nursing. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, gaining a strong foundation in both general and specialized nursing care. Over time, I discovered that one of the most rewarding parts of my role has been helping others learn whether through precepting new hires, guiding students through clinical rotations, or simply offering support and encouragement to those under my supervision as they were navigating the early stages of their nursing journey. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, supportive, and practical. I strive to simplify complex topics, reinforce core concepts, and build critical thinking skills that translate directly to clinical practice. I am passionate about helping others succeed not only academically but also professionally.
