Certified Tutor

I recently completed an Honors degree in History with a minor in Philosophy at McGill University, where I developed a passion for helping others engage deeply with ideas, texts, and arguments. Throughout my undergraduate career, I tutored high school and university students across a range of subjects, including history, political theory, and philosophy. I also served as a research assistant, journal editor, and peer mentor roles that sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and support others in achieving academic excellence.

I especially enjoy tutoring in the humanities and social sciences subjects like history, philosophy, political science, and law because they encourage students to think critically about the world around them. My approach is guided by curiosity, empathy, and structure. I help students build confidence by breaking down complex material into manageable parts and connecting it to broader themes and real-world relevance. Whether preparing for a major paper, exam, or improving foundational reading and writing skills, I work to make learning both rigorous and enjoyable.
