Helping students succeed is something I truly care about. I understand that school can be stressful and confusing at times, and I want to make learning easier and more comfortable for others. I'm especially passionate about helping students build confidence in themselvesnot just in their grades, but in how they think and solve problems.
I have experience working with students in both formal and informal settings. I've helped classmates and peers with math assignments, test prep, and study strategies. Through these experiences, I've learned how to be patient, listen carefully, and explain things in simple, clear steps. I also volunteer in community service projects where I've interacted with children and teens in supportive, learning-based environments.
I'm currently earning a degree in Mathematics from a university, where I've taken advanced courses in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics. I tutor a variety of subjects, including algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, discrete math, and introductory statistics. My favorite subject to tutor is algebra because it forms the foundation of so many other areas in math, and I enjoy helping students see how it all connects.
My tutoring style is flexible and focused on the student's needs. I try to understand how each student learns best and adjust my teaching to fit their pace and style. I believe in asking guiding questions, giving clear examples, and creating a space where students feel comfortable asking for help.
Outside of academics, I enjoy learning about financial markets, practicing coding, and spending time with my church community. I believe in always growing and giving back, and I bring that same energy to every tutoring session.
