For over 15 years I have been dedicated to academia in the realms of biology, biotechnology, and genetics with a strong emphasis in the neurosciences. During this time, I have been passionate about mentoring aspiring students, and particularly those that need a more holistic approach individual attention and understanding of the whole teachings at hand. I performed my formal education at Drexel University (undergraduate), Harvard Medical School (postgraduate researcher), the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (doctorate), Stanford School of Medicine (postdoctoral fellow), and finally I am research faculty at the Yale School of Medicine where I am heavily focused on cellular and molecular biological approaches to understanding neurodegeneration. I find myself enjoying teaching all realms of biology, from introductory to graduate test prep (GRE subject tests). I have a large amount of experience in the neurosciences, genetics, and cellular biology. When I am not indulging in translational research, I find myself enjoying time with my beautiful wife and lovely daughters here in Connecticut.
