With a Ph.D. in Linguistic Anthropology and an M.A. in Hispanic Studies from Louisiana State University, I combine academic expertise with over a decade of language teaching experience. My multilingual background includes fluency in English, French, and Spanish, complemented by study abroad experience in Belgium and field research in Mexico, Colombia, Senegal, and Louisiana. I've taught across educational levels, from K-12 to university settings, specializing in Spanish and French instruction both in-person and online. I'm passionate about helping students connect language learning with cultural understanding, implementing my research in sociolinguistics and second language acquisition to create engaging learning environments.
