Certified Tutor

I am a proud graduate of South Carolina State University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education. My passion for teaching and learning was ignited early on, and during my freshman year of college, I began tutoring studentsa journey that continued throughout my undergraduate experience. It was through these one-on-one sessions that I discovered the joy of helping students grow in confidence and competence, particularly in mathematics.

I later pursued and earned a Master's degree in Innovation and Divergent Learning from Columbia College. This program deepened my understanding of how students learn differently and reinforced my belief that every student can be successful when equipped with the right strategies and support.

My personal motto is: "You can't give mediocre effort and expect stellar results." I live and teach by this principle every day, encouraging my students to challenge themselves and strive for excellence. I especially have a heart for struggling learners. I believe that with patience, creativity, and the right approach, all students can learn to understand and even enjoy math. Helping students realize their potential is not just my job, it's my passion.
