I have long been fascinated about our universe, and my passion has motivated me to study math and science to learn about how our world fundamentally works. I studied physics with a concentration in astronomy at Cornell University, from which I graduated Magna cum Laude in 2023. Since then, I have been involved in varied academic research in order to answer questions about the structure of our universe, and about planets that orbit stars other than our own.
I have much experience teaching physics and astronomy to many different audiences. At Cornell, I was an undergraduate teaching assistant for a course in Quantum Mechanics, helping students work through difficult homework problems in order to solidify their understanding on complicated physics topics. I have also frequently worked and volunteered as a night-sky tour guide, showing anyone who is interested the beauty of our night skies.
Through studying physics, I have learned through firsthand experience that physics and math are, indeed, hard. I have much experience struggling to solve difficult problems or wrapping my head around unintuitive concepts, ultimately succeeding in part due to my motivation to continue but also thanks to help from sympathetic teachers. I now hope to pay back this debt by helping students with topics that once mystified me.

Being interested in astronomy and astrophysics, I naturally love stargazing, and I will gladly point out the locations of potentially habitable planets or talk about the history of certain constellations to anyone who will listen. In my free time, I also greatly enjoy hiking, running, and reading.
