Certified Tutor

I am a visual artist and educator who has published two photography books and believe in the power of the arts and storytelling. My passion lies in the arts and the creative expression used to look at ourselves and our world differently. My teaching and tutoring experiences include ten years of university-level instruction in art, art appreciation, and professional practices and in aiding the preparation of high school students for college. I received my MFA in Studio Art from the University of Connecticut and my BFA in Studio Art and Art History from the University of South Carolina. When I'm not in the studio making work or in the classroom, I enjoy running, gardening, and table-top games.
