My tutoring journey began through volunteer literacy programs and expanded to include helping students master challenging subjects, improve their writing, and develop study strategies that work for them. I especially enjoy working with English learners and students who need help breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps. Watching a student go from frustration to "aha!" is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
My favorite subjects to tutor are English and ESL because they open doorsnot only to academic success but also to better communication and self-expression. I believe every student has strengths worth building on, and my tutoring style is rooted in patience, humor, and real-world connections. Whether it's dissecting a novel, solving a tricky math problem, or exploring how the world works through science, I focus on building confidence and making learning enjoyable.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy running a small farm, reading everything from classic literature to graphic novels, and spending time with my daughter, who constantly reminds me of how fun and fascinating learning can be.
