Certified Tutor

I am a Washington University in St. Louis graduate who loves to teach. I studied mechanical engineering as an undergrad and business as a graduate student, so I have a broad knowledge base to pull from to teach science, math, English, business, and economics. I have worked with a wide range of students in the past, from volunteering to tutor middle school kids from underprivileged situations to working as an after-school tutor for high school and college students. When teaching, I think the most important thing a tutor can do is get to know every student's personal learning styles, and figuring out what interests them the most about the topic. This can help tailor personalized assistance on a topic far better than just reading paragraphs out of the text book ever could.
