Hello! My name is Aakanksh Goskonda, and I am a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where I obtained a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Data Science. As an aspiring physician, I have an immense love for the life sciences, specifically Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as mathematics. I have an extensive background in these fields, through both my undergraduate coursework as well as scientific research. Sharing my passion for learning is extremely important to me, as I have been working as a private tutor since the past 5 years, tutoring students of all ages in related subjects as well as SAT and ACT prep. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to help bolster students' academic performances, from helping students improve in their school coursework by an entire letter grade to preparing students in scoring in the 90th percentile and above on their standardized exams. Today, I hope to do the same for my future students as a tutor for Varsity Tutors and continue spreading my passion for learning and the pursuit of knowledge.

I am an avid sports fan, specifically Football and Basketball, and I love to watch and root for the New York Giants and the Knicks. I also love being active, whether that is playing these sports or working out, running, and swimming. While I am not being active, I love reading, specifically Sci-Fi novels as well as scientific literature in the field of medicine. I also love learning to cook different cuisines as I am a big foody, and love trying new restaurants with my friends and family!
