Hello! My name is Mary, and I am a passionate educator with 16 years of classroom experience teaching English Language Arts in middle and high schools in the Metro Atlanta area. Both of my degrees are in education: a Bachelor's in English Education and a Master's in Reading, Language, and Literacy, and I have used my own academic experiences to support and nurture students at a variety of levels, from English Language Learners and students with disabilities to those in Gifted and Advanced Placement courses. I believe everyone has the capacity and right to learn - all you need is the right support! I pride myself on my ability to adjust my teaching style and strategies to best support each individual learner, and I look forward to having the opportunity to help you master - and hopefully enjoy - your skills in reading and writing.
