I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, from Thomas Edison State University, and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. My teaching career spans over three decades, encompassing all age groups from Pre-K through college undergraduates, in both classroom and tutoring environments. I have extensive experience in teaching diverse subjects, including elementary and middle school math and science, and high school biology, earth science, journalism, creative writing, art history, and critical thinking. My special interests include earth science, geology, English grammar, writing, and literature. I have also helped students achieve college credit through CLEP and DSST exams, and developed customized educational content for homeschoolers and independent learners. I am dedicated to helping students identify their individual learning styles, fostering their ability to connect concepts, recognize patterns, and develop enduring skills. My commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in my ongoing exploration of various subjects through online courses on platforms like Coursera and EdX.
