I believe all students can be successful! As a passionate educator with a Master of Science degree in Education from Southern Adventist University, I have dedicated over 20 years in fostering students' academic success in Reading, English Language Arts and Math. Specializing in ACT preparation, ESL, Phonics and literacy development, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can discover their unique learning styles and apply effective strategies in becoming successful as critical thinkers/learners. My teaching philosophy emphasizes building positive relationships with students and enabling them to feel assured and motivated in their studies. The joys of experiencing growth and achievement with my students has sparked my commitment in their educational development. I am currently serving as a Traveling Teacher- I travel to the library to meet with my students, and I relish the opportunity I have to engage with diverse learners and inspire them to reach their full potential.
