Boston University Bachelors of science in Neurobiology. I have been tutoring ages K-12 for 6+ years now - through various public and private sessions, highschool + AP classes, college classes + TAing. I tutor a wide variety of subjects, and specifically very passionate about tutoring all levels of Biology and Chemistry, ACT prep, and AP English, History, and Science tests. There is something so rewarding about breaking down large, complex mechanisms and concepts into understandable parts. I approach every session with a clear goal for each student's needs - whether that is a specific problem or just general content review. I've strengthened my ability to identify specific obstacles and turn them into opportunities for growth and I emphasize active learning and practice in my sessions, creating an engaging and dynamic environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and discover solutions.
