I am a graduate of Seattle Colleges, with a Bachelor's degree in Community Health and Education. I have been working in health care for the past 10 years, and I've done everything from being a paramedic to coordinating critical care transport, to my current position as a Patient Care Coordinator at a cancer hospital. I did peer tutoring all through college, and now I volunteer at the public library's after-school program as a homework tutor. My favorite subjects to tutor are reading and writing, because those are actually my favorite hobbies! I am passionate about teaching literacy and getting people excited about reading. I think the best way to learn is by having fun and I try to always aim to find out what is fun for my students :)
