With nearly 20 years of experience in the professional world, I transitioned into teaching after earning my Bachelor of Science in Math Education from Grand Canyon University. Since then, I have taught Algebra I, Geometry, and ACT Prep, blending a practical, real-world perspective into my lessons. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity and common sense, breaking down concepts in a way that resonates with all learners -- not just math enthusiasts. This method has led to measurable success: my Algebra I students consistently achieved improved state test scores, while my Geometry students excelled on the geometry section of the ACT.

In addition to teaching, I am deeply involved in coaching high school soccer. In 2022 and 2023, my team secured back-to-back State Championships. Beyond the high school level, I coach club soccer, preparing athletes for success on the field and in the classroom. I emphasize the importance of being a student first and an athlete second, ensuring that while sports may open doors, education is the foundation for lifelong success.
