Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in English as a Second Language. I also received a Master's in Adult Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix, and I am in my last class now at Arizona State University for a certificate in Computer-Assisted Language Learning. I began my teaching career in Guatemala, teaching in a College Preparatory, and I've continued ESL education by teaching adults who are recent immigrants to the United States. I am most passionate about English language learning whether it be as a primary language or secondary. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
