Certified Tutor

I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park. I have been passionate about tutoring since I was in middle school. It began when I realized the great joy that can be experienced when you help others see their potential and the beauty in learning. I love the endless knowledge you can obtain when learning, especially when you share the experience with your peers. I actively tutored through the English, Math and Science National Honor Societies in high school. I also have experience working for Kumon, tutoring younger students ranging from the ages of 4-11. I love seeing the excitement in younger learner's eyes as they see their determination pay off. This is just as wonderful as watching the relief on an older students face as they get through a challenging problem. That's all I want for the students I work with: relief and self confidence in their abilities. In my spare time I enjoy running, reading and hanging out with my dog!
