I have always loved math. I chose it as my major in college, and I have spent the last nine years tutoring students in my community in all levels of math. Working with students has only increased my appreciation for this subject. I try to get beyond the "when am I ever going to use this?" question and show students that we are practicing attention to detail, logical thinking, and accurately executing a process, which are skills that will be valuable no matter where life leads.
