Certified Tutor

Teaching is a continuous learning process for the teacher, as well as for the scholar. I am a retired educator that has gone back into teaching. I am currently working at L.E.A.D. Academy Intermediate in Montgomery, AL as a Math Interventionist and Coach for the teachers. I attended Auburn University at Montgomery and currently hold the following degrees: BA/English/Editing and Writing, BS/Elementary Education, BS/Middle School Math, M.Ed/Elementary Education, and Ed.S/Elementary Education. Throughout my tenure, I have worked as a math teacher in grades 6-8. Besides being a math teacher, I have taught all subjects in the elementary area. I have also worked online as a K-12 Educator and with Varsity Tutors. So, the last 34 years of my life have been dedicated to education, and I would not change anything about it. Education is truly my passion as well as my calling. My firmness, fairness, and fun way of teaching have awarded me the love that I am able spread amongst all children that I teach.
