I have been a middle school teacher for 20 years. I have also been a soccer and volleyball coach. The energy that I get from my students gives me the strength and patience to be an excellent tutor.

I love to help students understand what they do not understand.

I like to meet my students where they are regarding a "homework" problem. I try to understand what you do not get and will do my best to help you realize your potential.

Hobbies

I love to be outdoors. I play a variety of sports including tennis and pickleball. I love to swim and go to the beach regularly. I am a ferocious reader and like to listen to audiobooks while driving or walking in the neighborhood. BUT - my biggest passion is for all animals. I love them all, big and small. I have 4 cats, 3 dogs and used to have Guinea Pigs, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon, and several tanks full of fish.
