I am a BA (English) graduate and a CELTA-certified English tutor who is keen about helping learners understand and assimilate concepts and constructs.
I am a fresher to tutoring (excepting some teaching sessions at school and college) but have had a good deal of experience tutoring in informal settings, say with family and friends, not to mention my extensive self-study. In fact, it is this same informal experience that pointed to me the way ahead.
I have had a fantastic journey of learning and absorbing English, and this leads me now towards another where I heartily help people in their learning adventures.
I believe in an educational experience which is sincere, hearty and broad-minded, filled with curious enquiry and faithful pursuit. It is one where the tutor and the learner are equal and are equally learning. Such an experience contains insightful tasks, exercises and meaningful exchanges. As a result, learning aims are achieved and ideas learned are constantly applied in life.
