I am a High School Science teacher. I was ELA and Math tutor for the last 5 years at a Magnet school. I graduated with a Masters in Teaching from University of Saint Joseph, CT, with a GPA of 4.0 and currently hold a Connecticut Teaching certification #305 for
grades 1-6. I believe that with my teaching and tutoring background and experience I am well prepared to use this platform. As an experienced and passionate educator, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to student-centered learning. With my dedication to fostering a love for learning and my expertise
in creating engaging lesson plans aligned towards student's needs, I am confident that I would be a great fit.
I have a deep understanding of the importance of creating a positive
and inclusive experience in learning. I taught in culturally and linguistically diverse classrooms
and I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and it is my mission to provide them with the tools and supports they need to thrive. Through my previous roles as an educator, I have honed my ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students,
ensuring that each individual receives the personalized attention they deserve. I am an organized and creative individual, with strong communication skills and a passion for teaching and a drive to help students be successful. I also have a strong understanding of curriculum and assessment, as well as have excellent classroom management skills. I am confident that I have the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective teacher/tutor and contribute to the success of my students.
