I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Akron in Electrical Engineering. Following that I worked for 25 years in the engineering field rising to the level of a corporate officer in a public company and Vice President and General manager in a private company. Much of my work experience was in the airline industry in wide area telecommunications and systems. Following my retirement from the engineering industry I went into education and receive a Master of Science in Mathematics. I have taught most every math course in high school and many collage level courses. I often teach or tutor by asking step-by-step questions along the way to help the student discover the answer and the reason behind the answer for themselves.
