I am deeply passionate about helping students because I believe in the transformative power of education. My journey began with a BS in K-6 Education from Drexel University, where I gained a strong foundation in teaching pedagogy and child development. Building on this, I pursued my MS in Teaching ESL at Wilkes University, furthering my commitment to supporting diverse learners.
My experience working with students spans elementary through middle school levels, encompassing a range of subjects including English, grammar, reading, and social studies. I find particular joy in tutoring English and social studies due to their ability to foster cross-curricular connections and stimulate meaningful conversations. My teaching philosophy is centered on creativity, patience, and making learning entertaining and hands-on. I believe in adapting my approach to each student's unique learning style, encouraging them to engage with the material actively. By creating a supportive environment where curiosity is encouraged, I aim to instill confidence and a lifelong love for learning in my students. Beyond academia, I am passionate about exploring new cultures through travel, experimenting with diverse cuisines through cooking, and expanding my linguistic skillscurrently focusing on Hindi and Marathi. These interests enrich my teaching by providing real-world examples and fostering a global perspective in the classroom.
