After graduating high school, I studied sociology, specializing in criminal justice reform, equitable education, and Black studies, in which I earned a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi. During my sophomore year of college, I piloted a Restorative Justice Club that trained students in self-advocacy, peer mediation, and community-building. I also serve as a teacher at Abramson Sci Academy in New Orleans, where I teach Global Justice/Social Studies and designed a curriculum for 9th-grade students.
