I am a recent graduate with an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manchester and a BA in Politics and International Affairs from Furman University. I am passionate about helping students navigate academia, having experienced the pressures myself. My goal is to alleviate that pressure, boost confidence, and foster a positive learning experience.
In terms of experience, I've worked as a notetaker for Furman's student success department and virtually taught English as an Access Intern to students in Krasnodar, Russia. I also have experience as a student representative at my postgraduate university, giving me insight into student needs and how to address them in a meaningful manner. My tutoring expertise spans various subjects related to history, politics, government, and religion, however my favorite subjects to tutor are politics courses, especially those centered around foreign policy and international relations. As a tutor I will prioritize your needs, aiming to identify strengths and build upon weaknesses.
Beyond academia, I'm passionate about art and theater having been a costume designer for my university's theater program. I also love to travel, having spent time in the UK, Brussels, and Turkey. I'm excited to contribute to your academic journey and make learning a rewarding experience together.
