Ricardo McKenzie was born in the heart of the Caribbean. After studying abroad in Mxico, France, and Spain, Ricardo earned his B.A. in Spanish and French and a minor in Ethnic Studies. He has worked as an international flight service manager for a major US airline, an analytic linguist, and a world language educator. He recently taught Spanish and served as Upper School DEI clerk at a Quaker college prep school in PA. Ricardo earned his M.S. in Spanish Language Education and his M.A. in Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. As a current doctoral candidate (Ed.D.) in Instructional Systems and Learning Technology, Ricardo's dissertation analyzes mobile-assisted language learning (MALL). He is currently the Director of DEIB & Culture for an international consulting firm.
