I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I believe that with individual attention and care given to each student, they can grow and flourish in their educational journey!
I taught in schools for two years prior to becoming an online tutor. This experience gave me the opportunity to teach students from Kindergarten to 4th grade. I spent most of my time teaching whole class lessons, small group lessons and also working one-on-one with students. This gave me the chance to learn how to best help individual students in any group size. I have experience teaching all elementary subjects, including math, science, social studies, reading, writing, and art.
I am also passionate about creating art and I have discovered that teaching art has allowed me to help ignite this passion in other students as well. My skillset includes teaching students how to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and how to make 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art. I also have experience in marketing and creating logos and designs for both small and large businesses.
I hold a Bachelors of Science Degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho where I double minored in Elementary Education and Art education and received a certificate in Curriculum Building.

A few of my interest and hobbies include being outside in nature, hiking, running and rock climbing. I also love art. I have taken classes throughout my high school and college career in watercolor, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, and photography. I feel like art is an amazing way to stay in tune with emotions and the beauty in the world around us.
