I am currently a doctoral student at Texas Woman's University, entering the dissertation phase of my program. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication and have been teaching communication courses including Public Speaking and Business & Professional Communication at both the high school and collegiate levels for the past ten years. As both an educator and a professional, I also bring extensive experience in interviewing techniques and resume writing.

Outside of academia I love to shop and try new restaurants. There are always new restaurants to try in Houston. I enjoy traveling back home to spend time with my parents, and sitting outside on the porch! I also have a unique fascination with turtles! I enjoy finding turtle collectables.
