Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Berry College where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Spanish. I gained functional fluency in Spanish and a passion for language. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Sevilla, Spain furthering my ability in the language but also my appreciation. While at Berry, I became part of their ESL program for the local community around the school. I worked with kids, helping them with homework and eventually taking on the role of tutor for a sweet kid. I worked with him on his literacy as well as his math skills. I was also part of the chemistry department at Berry, where I got to lead a prep team for the labs in addition to being a teaching assistant. I worked with a professor as her aide in the lab, answering students' questions and sharing my passion for the subject. I want to help students in their studies because I know firsthand the need for support in my studies. I have been there when learning a subject was so overwhelming that it took away from the joy of learning. I want to help students take a weight off their shoulders so they can focus on enjoying their education. I also want to help students achieve their goals. I am goal-oriented myself and want to help students reach theirs as they prepare for their future. I look forward to sharing my passions with the students I will work with and hopefully learning from them about their passions!
