Certified Tutor

I am a Master's graduate of the New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine. I achieved my Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a strong passion in anatomy and biochemistry. Before that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and English. I am fluent in three languages - English, Urdu, and Hindi - and am conversational in Japanese. I am extremely passionate about education and the importance of strong mentorship, and have worked as a tutor and mentor for several years. While I tutor in many subjects, which I will mention shortly, I find that I am the most passionate when it comes to teaching in biology. I have guided students through high school biology and chemistry, college applications, essays, and standardized testing, with all of my students seeing an increase of about 15-20% in their grades and test scores! I love to make learning fun, especially when the subject is tricky, and I believe any and every student can excel with the right help! I am also a professional artist and enjoy being creative in my free time, so we tend to have pretty colorful lectures!
