Great teachers do more than just impart knowledge, impart skills, and assist pupils in getting the highest scores. They are individuals who stimulate students' creativity, foster their capacity for critical thought, and help them become ready for the complicated world they will encounter once they leave school by sharing their love of learning and their curiosity with them. Teaching is a step in the discovery process and offers students the chance to learn. I believe teachers share their expertise and critical thinking with their students, while students share their excitement and original ideas with their teachers. I wish to share this process with the next generation and have a positive impact on their life through my teaching and advising.

Before beginning my undergraduate degree in theatre arts at the University of Zimbabwe, I worked as a teaching assistant in various schools to gain experience. A few years later, I completed my post-graduate educationdiploma in English and performing arts at Zimbabwe Open University. With these credentials, I was hired as an English and Theatre Arts teacher at Cowdray Park Secondary. In the six years that I spent instructing high school students, I encouraged them to excel in English. They learned to love the subject and delve deeply to understand any written work. I developed relationships with more than 200 students and made sure they all felt cared for by giving them individualized feedback, facilitating class discussions, and offering ongoing encouragement. In collaboration with parents and the administrative team, I also created performance improvement programs for students who weren't performing well. I was a member of the group of educators who helped my district add theater arts as a subject. I participated in the teachers who standardized the curriculum to make it suitable for high schools during this time.

I am very passionate about English, Drama, Acting, scriptwriting, and project proposal coaching. For my challenging students, I produced extra practice, step-by-step instructions, and unique homework. I made learning easy for them through the use ofcharts, illustrations, and cue cards. In my spare time I enjoy reading novels, research, playing squash, and baking.
