I am a graduate of Meridian Community College, Mississippi State University, and Grand Canyon University. I received my Bachelors & Masters Degree in Special Education.
When I graduated with my Bachelors in 2013, I went to work for the Walt Disney Company through their college program and in accessibility services. Although I had amazing experiences at Disney, I missed working and connecting with students. I returned home, began teaching high school inclusion classes with a focus in math, and started pursuing my Masters degree. While math is one of my favorite subjects, I enjoy helping students succeed. We all learn and think differently, so we have to find which ways we need to present information for things to "click". My passion is helping others get what they need to be successful, whether that be some memory tools for a test or motivating them through graduation.
I believe we should always be learning. I am studying Spanish. My goal is to travel to Mexico one day and see the Aztec ruins.
In my spare time, I spend time with my husband and daughter. My husband and I love playing video games and have a large collection of games and consoles. I'm currently playing through the Assassins Creed games.

I love a good story (especially one with adventure and magic), and I am constantly looking for a new one. I read books and comics, watch various TV series and movies, play a variety of RPG games, etc. When I'm not seeking the thrill of a story, I try to make my own. My husband and I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
