Hello! I'm Midori,. I am a native Japanese speaker. I completed my English Studies at Osaka Shoin Women's University in Japan and furthered my education with English courses at Eurocentres in Central London, Oxford College of Further Education in Oxford, and the Language Project in Bristol, England. I also completed an interactive teaching course at Tokyo University, where I gained knowledge and skills in teaching techniques like active learning and designing classes for proactive student engagement.

I've been working as a Japanese language teacher for about 7 years, teaching both children and adults at various levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. I have experience teaching both group and one-on-one lessons, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit the needs and interests of my students. I aim to make my lessons engaging and adaptable, structuring them around the student's goals and preferences.

My specialties include general conversation, travel or business conversation, writing and reading (hiragana, katakana, kanji), grammar, and preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). I'm a patient and dedicated teacher, always supportive, encouraging, and sometimes challenging to ensure my lessons are both enjoyable and effective. I'm looking forward to working with you!
