My time is spent between Seattle and Manta, Ecuador!
Over a year ago, I left my job as a high school Spanish teacher to take on new adventure and travel and live in South America. My education runs deep with studies in Tarragona, Spain, Valparaiso, Chile and Ogden, Utah. I have a degree in Spanish literature and a masters degree in Education with a Spanish emphasis.
My goal is to engage students and instill confidence by immersion Spanish, the best way to learn!!

I love to play and watch sports. I used to play a lot of basketball but now I coach. Since I am from Seattle, I love the Pacific Northwest. I also play the piano because my parents gave me 12 years of lessons! Some odd interests I have are a passion for Spanish baroque art and the book Ender's Game is something I read every 5 years or so! Most of all, I love to travel, to talk to people from other countries and to eat good food!
