I have an engineering degree from IIT-R, India, and a Master's degree in Business Management. I have nearly twenty five years of classroom teaching experience. Additionally, I have tutored Grade 4 to Grade12 students Mathematics and Science. My passion for teaching and my versatile experience of teaching both adults and youngsters always help me quickly adapt to the levels of my students.
Since 2014, I have volunteered as an ESL teacher at a public library in Saint Louis. Although I am a non-native speaker of the English language, I have been appreciated not just by English language learners from diverse backgrounds but also by my native speaker colleague.
The underpinning factor in my teaching philosophy is my concern for each student's success in his or
her scholastic journey. Central to my teaching are these two principles distilled from my years of
teaching and tutoring: being adaptive and customizing my tutoring for optimum learning and providing opportunities for better learning and longer retention. Through these, I strive to instill
in my students intellectual curiosity, and resourcefulness in grasping concepts and solving problems.
