Certified Tutor

I am currently a graduate student at Rush University earning my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology with an expected graduation date of April 2023. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a minor in psychology and I graduated from here in May of 2021.

While at the University of Illinois, I was a tutor for collegiate student athletes for two years! This was my first exposure to the world of tutoring and I absolutely loved it. I tutored in a wide range of subjects including English, Statistics, various sciences, and study/organizational skills. Once I began my masters program, I gained experience working with patients of all ages and wide range of language, academic, cognitive, executive functioning, and social needs. The treatment plans I create for school-aged patients are always based on their curricular and academic needs, so I have the skills to develop lesson plans appropriate to any students needs.

At the end of the day, I have always loved being a student and helping others learn. I understand that everyone has their own learning styles and should be treated as the unique individual they are!
