I have been an educator for 13 years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Illinois State University and my Masters degree in Elementary Education from Weetern Illinois University. I have been passionate working with kids since my high school year when I would volunteer in our special education department. I am passionate about teaching phonics and reading. Since Covid I know reading and phonics skills have become an area of need for our youth and I am here to help improve your students skills. I also love teaching math, English, science and social studies. I love to use a hands on approach when teaching as well as one on one or small group instruction. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising and watching my oldest compete in swim.
