I will am currently an undergraduate at Adelphi University's Honors College. I am also part of the BS/MD program between Adelphi University and SUNY Upstate Medical University. This means that right out of high school, I was guaranteed admission to medical school in 4 years! I will be majoring in Biology. To work towards my goal of becoming an Interventional Cardiologist, I am currently conducting research in Cardiology at St. Francis Hospital, where I also volunteer every year. I tutor in ACT subjects, SAT subjects, AP subjects, Biology, Spanish, and much more! I have successfully obtained my New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, one of the subjects I'm most passionate about. Being an AP Scholar with Distinction and a recipient of the AP Capstone Diploma has allowed me to tutor an academically diverse array of students. I have tutored previously through afterschool homework help programs at my high school, as well as through Math, Science, and National Honor Society opportunities. However, having been a Children's Museum volunteer and a baseball coach, I enjoy watching young kids and teens improve in not just school, but in many aspects of life. I love teaching by incorporating these different aspects of life (including favorite activities) into different subjects so as to make the learning process more fun and engaging!

Hobbies

I have been a violinist for the past 9 years, successfully completing up to Level 5 NYSSMA and serving as a 1st violin section leader. I am also an avid and accomplished photographer; many of my photos have been in exhibits throughout Long Island and New York State. I enjoy writing poems and short stories as well; a few years ago, I was named an NCTE Promising Young Writer. For the past 6 years, I have been a softball pitcher for my high school. One of my favorite pastimes to do at home is origami. Finally, I love learning the law through Mock Trial, and preparing for case tournaments with my team.
