I recently completed my BSc in mechanical engineering with a minor in aerospace engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. I learned that I love teaching after spending 4 months in Ukraine teaching English and science courses to young students. I have continued volunteering and teaching online with my older students. I have always been an avid lover of education with interests ranging from astronomy and space, to the ancient Greeks and Romans. As an engineer, I specialize in STEM courses (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), but my variety of other academic interests allow me to confidently each a variety of subjects. I think that education is something that should be fun, and I am determined to infuse each of my lessons with enthusiasm and optimism.

While I love the classroom, my interests do not stop there. I am a very outdoorsy and active person. I have ridden my bicycle coast to coast across the USA, completed an Ironman Triathlon, and gone on numerous week long hikes. I also love to cook and bake different recipes that I discover while traveling.
