Certified Tutor

As a student myself, I understand the difficulties students face. From complex chemistry topics to just learning how to organize and study, I can teach you a thing or two because I've learned a thing or two. I'll be the first to admit that my path to medical school was bumpy, but along the ride, I was able to find the best ways to break down material into easy-to-study chunks. My first degree was a Bachelor's in Biology with a concentration in Chemistry. If you're struggling with organic chemistry, biochemistry, or even just plain ol' biology, I would love to help you learn these important concepts in a way that lets you understand and remember them even in future classes. I have had success in most of my STEM classes (I was on this website myself to learn calculus, so don't book for that), but my knowledge does not stop there. At the South Carolina Honors College at USC, I earned a second degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. My Spanish speaking and tutoring goes back years as I have been bilingual my whole life. Along the way, I have also excelled in statistics and writing classes, so I believe I am an excellent candidate for anyone looking to improve in these classes, as well.

Doing well in class but standardized tests scare you? I've helped numerous students make improvements on their ACT and SAT scores allowing them to get into their top choice school! We can break down each section in one session or split it up over a few weeks for the most in-depth studying. If college isn't your goal, I have also helped students score in the top percentiles on the ASVAB, too!

Finally, I realize that all the tutoring in the world cannot help an unorganized student. To finally be removed from that category has been a decades-long process, but I have never been shy about explaining it. The knowledge was generally there, but it was always so hard to prove because I would lose assignments and forget due dates. I had trouble focusing in class, especially in classes I didn't like, but through a process of trial and (lots of) error, I can now help others work with their gifts to become a better student.
